Seeing Potential: A Visionary Perspective on Growth and Healing, By Debbie Rosas.

On the quest for deeper understanding and connection within our community, it is essential to reflect on the profound impact of envisioning potential in ourselves and others. I believe and I see how every individual carries a unique journey and a unique story; a narrative shaped by personal experiences, challenges, and triumphs. By recognizing these stories and narratives, we create opportunities to attract and support others seeking healing and empowerment.

The Found Art of Seeing Potential is something I have been given. It is why I can see someone in the future, as their future self. Often my sight places them in a position they are not ready for or prepared for, resulting in misalignment and failure. Holding a visionary perspective for growth and healing extends beyond individual growth. It is something that encompasses the collective and therefore the vision must embrace diverse cultures, identities, and backgrounds.

Let us acknowledge the importance of diverse body, mind, emotion, spirit expression and leadership and help connect with different cultural perspectives and Me-We-Us experiences.

Every vision requires adaptation. This includes rethinking our approaches to cultural outreach, adjusting our music, networking strategies, and recruitment efforts to ensure everyone can find a meaningful path that aligns with their desires and lifestyle. By embracing the found art of seeing potential, we can engage in transformative practices that empower both individuals and communities as a whole and which celebrates our shared commitment to everyone.

To foster this vision, let us each engage in open dialogue and honest conversation about the secular “me”, the symbolic “we” and the inclusion and representation of the divine “us” first with ourselves and then with others. As we cultivate The Found Art of Seeing Potential and develop a visionary perspective on growth and healing within our circles, let’s consider the following guiding principles as we come together for dynamic future engagement.

Identifying Barriers and Opportunities: Recognize what stands in the way while also uncovering the possibilities that lie ahead.

Creating Open Spaces: Establish an environment—both in heart and mind—where our community and the Nia curriculum can evolve to meet the needs of our changing world.

Building Collaborative Teams: Assemble a council of informed community advisors who you have seen “walk the path” undertaking the necessary personal work to heal and have the tools to help address community needs and effectively guide and help others.

Fostering Creativity: Create a safe and inspiring atmosphere for co-creation, where ideas can flourish, and innovation is embraced.

And so, In conclusion, with all these efforts and many, many others to come, let us continue to honor each and every unique body and life process as we illuminate the path toward a vibrant and inclusive Me-We-Us future.
