Picking Things Up, From Where We May Have Put Them Down, With Debbie Rosas.

What if we, as humans, are at a pivotal moment—called to create and hold the lineage of a new kind of human? A human who is balanced and centered, who leads with both logic and intuition, compassion and action, and whose intent is guided by an unwavering commitment to do good.

Imagine a humanity thriving on the collaboration of two primal and sacred energies—feminine and masculine—working in harmony, neither dominating nor yielding, but instead co-creating a world steeped in balance and meaning. What would life look like guided by this new kind of intelligence?

Weaving them together with a new kind of intelligence—one that values the sacred partnership of both the feminine energy and the masculine energy.

This vision has been with me since I was a child. I’ve often wondered about the dance between the feminine and masculine energies—what they mean, how they move, and what they create together. My wonder deepened as a young woman when I encountered Judy Chicago’s The Birth Project.

Over the years, this vision grew into what I now call, The Awakening Project. It’s my way of contributing to a vision of humanity, which is more mindful, more compassionate, and more collaborative. It’s a call to awaken the heart of the sacred human and rekindle its threads of ancient wisdom.

Her art awakened in me the desire to explore the magic and mystery of being human in a body—alive, whole, and composed of sacred energies that birth life itself.

The world is at a crossroads. We face crises that stem from imbalance, disconnection, and an over-reliance on domination and separation. Yet within us lies the capacity for something greater: a return to connection with a reawakening of sacred wisdom and the cultivation of a new way of being.

An Awakening Project is more than an idea—it is an urgent task to reimagine and redesign what it means to be human. At its core is the understanding that everything in life is interconnected. By awakening to this truth, we can begin to heal ourselves, our relationships, and our world.

Imagine a humanity that honors ancient wisdom while embracing modern insight. A humanity that lives in collaboration together with our Earth and our Cosmos. This project plants the seeds for a new way of being—one that nurtures the wisdom of the feminine, while honoring the strength of the masculine.

At the heart of The Awakening Project lies a sacred triad: Me-We-Us. These three stages represent the journey of awakening Me-We-Us purposeful projects.

1. Me: A sacred return to self. This is a stage of self-awareness, self-care, and self-leadership. It’s about understanding the essence of you—your choices, your instincts, your unique energy. Here, we cultivate a deep relationship with ourselves, laying the foundation for authentic connection.
   
2. We: The bridge to others. This is a stage where we explore relationships—learning from both the joy and discomfort which they bring. “We” is when and where growth happens, as we begin to see ourselves in others, and as we sincerely begin to expand both our compassion and understanding.
   
3. Us: The sacred oneness. This is an ultimate return to global unity—a space where the illusion of separation dissolves. Here, we feel connected to all life, guided by all energies that unite and uplift. It’s a place of deep peace, where we listen to the Earth, the Cosmos, and our wisdom within.

This journey requires courage, curiosity, and compassion. It calls us to listen—to our Earth and to the whisper of our universe. Let’s walk this path together, creating a new kind of human—one who embodies the dance of feminine and masculine and one who understands that by healing ourselves, we heal our world.

This is a call to action. To step into a new way of being. To reclaim the sacredness of life and to honor the energies that flow through us. The time for awakening is now. Together, we will plant seeds of healing and hope. The question is not whether we hear this call. The question is, will we answer this call?
