Awakening A New Feminine Spirit + The Power of Visual Presence As A Catalyst for Change, With Debbie Rosas.

I have experienced firsthand, the profound impact of my visual presence and that more than appearance; it is a transmission of energy. It is a silent language that communicates identity, intention, grace, wisdom, and power. Throughout history and in my lifetime, I have seen the image of the feminine change or shape politics, culture, society and even spirituality.

As I have watched and participated in changes of the image of the feminine spirit, I have become inspired to use the opportunity for awakening a new feminine spirit to reshape my presence and forge a new path that embraces the compassion, softness, and care of my feminine energy, while standing strong in wise alignment with my masculine spirit.

A new vision of the feminine spirit calls for an evolution of her presence—not as an opposition to the masculine, but as a harmonizing force that integrates and transforms humanity into something stronger. When I began embodying my feminine spirit, I noticed how her presence softened me and helped me to create balance between my masculine and feminine side.

I was surprised to discover that giving them both space and respect through my time and my attention did not suppress my strength, but rather; I found the invitation to integrate the sacred and create a creative dance between these two energies that formed a power in me infused with strength, empathy, connection, and greater life force sustainability.

While I am not one to generally call myself a goddess, throughout history, I view the feminine spirit in many forms that have been revered as the Goddess, the Great Mother, the Sacred Feminine with sovereignty over both creation and destruction with the full spectrum of existence while holding the image of the embodiment of life, fertility, wisdom, war, and love.

These are some examples:

  • Isis (Egyptian Mythology): The great mother goddess, a protector, a healer, and a keeper of sacred wisdom. A sovereign force of divine motherhood, protector of the sacred, and guardian of mystical transformation. She embodies the power of healing, resilience, and feminine wisdom, guiding seekers toward wholeness and spiritual awakening.
  • Quan Yin (Chinese Buddhism): The goddess of compassion, representing the ultimate divine grace and mercy. The eternal embodiment of compassion, offering boundless love, mercy, and divine grace. In modern times, she represents emotional intelligence, radical empathy, and the ability to hold space for healing in a chaotic world.
  • Sophia (Gnostic Tradition): The embodiment of divine wisdom, the sacred intelligence of the universe. The living wisdom of the cosmos, a divine intelligence that illuminates the path of enlightenment. She symbolizes the pursuit of higher consciousness, inner knowing, and the union of spiritual insight with practical wisdom in everyday life.
  • Inanna (Sumerian Mythology): The goddess of love, war, and transformation, known for her descent into the underworld—a symbolic journey of deep initiation and rebirth. A fearless goddess of love, war, and personal transformation, embodying the raw power of vulnerability and rebirth. Her descent into the underworld reflects the deep, initiatory journeys of self-discovery and empowerment that define the modern feminine experience.
  • Brigid (Celtic Tradition): The goddess of poetry, healing, and fire, a bridge between earthly and divine realms. A goddess of poetry, healing, and fire, she represents the fusion of creativity and spiritual devotion. As a bridge between the material and the divine, she inspires those who seek to integrate passion, artistry, and purpose in their lives.

These divine embodiments speak to the power of presence. The feminine is not passive; it is an active life force, a creative power that holds, nurtures, transforms, and leads. Each of these archetypes speaks to a different aspect of the evolving feminine spirit—offering guidance, strength, and a call to embody wisdom, love, and transformation in our modern world.

In practical terms, how we each express our feminine vision and presence truly matters. I have found that through the act of reclamation—choosing to embody my sacred feminine vision and my visual presence through how I move, dress, adorn, and carry myself—is both empowering and healing, By cultivating this presence, I may exude more love, wisdom, power and grace.

I sense that my visual transmission of the feminine spirit extends beyond my individual expression, weaving its way into a collective awakening through all the many representations of my arts. When I step into the world embodying my awakened feminine spirit, I feel I contribute to the energetic shift of humanity, by changing the narrative to redefine myself.

What the feminine looks like through creating a new voice and a new vision of humanity where the masculine is no longer dominant, but integrated with the feminine, is a time of great transformation where the feminine spirit is not only awakening, but also rising and evolving. Awakening a new feminine spirit is not just about change, but about an evolution that births.

It is also about remembrance, restoration, and reclamation of a sacred power by stepping fully into our vision and presence of her, shaping a new vision of reality, and holding space for a world where harmony, balance, and sacred wisdom guide our way forward. I have walked this extraordinary life changing path into a balanced whole being. I invite you to do the same.
