It Begins With Exploration.

My inspiration for An Awakening Project came the day I learned about Judy Chicago’s debut of her multi medium art collaborative titled, The Birth Project. Living in St. Louis, MO, I was unable to attend this groundbreaking event which occurred between 1980 and 1985. Instead, I searched for anything I could find to read about it and asked myself questions about it; all while I immersed myrself, both as an artist and as a viewer, in Judy Chicago’s work. 

Soon, I determined that in her own lifetime, I would gather a global community for their immersion together into the exploration of their own individual and unique creativity through the discovery of a myriad of imaginative expressions that live within us all.

It Focuses Entirely On You.

Coming Soon! A new Body & Life Education Program, Awakening A New Feminine Spirit and An Awakening Project that have been designed and formatted as a transformational journey through a diverse and inclusive experience for everyone. Bringing global participants together annually, with extended invitations to their own communities from around the world, Awakening A New Feminine Spirit begins with 13 live weekly class gatherings.

New themes will be introduced annually with participants enjoying awakening experiences through the movement, music, and magic of the tradition of The Nia Technique, with a new format and design that focuses on the extraordinary body, mind, and emotion growth and development of creativity available for every human being.

It Empowers Through Celebration.

An Awakening Project Gallery Show events will conclude the annual Awakening A New Feminine Spirit journey with a celebration, as we host live and live streamed gatherings for a global community that will honor participants and their online exhibitions of creative works. An evening of meeting and greeting others, followed by viewing online galleries, and concluding with enjoying celebrations together in break out sessions to share memories and imaginations, will close out An Awakening Project experience with a nod to the next year’s journey for new participants. 

The focus of An Awakening Project is to guide participants toward discovery of their creative potential, while the intent is to create thriving world wide communities.

It Thrives On Transformational Joy.

The meaning of An Awakening Project is entirely nested within everyone’s unique creative potential as an artist, maker, artisan, or creative that contributes their story to an extraordinary layered narrative. The purpose of An Awakening Projectis rooted in holistic, joyful, vibrant, health and wellness for personal growth and development that is transformational for everyone. And, as I describe it, 

“A new contextual sound for a sing-along network of consciousness stimulation to help everyone dissolve, transform, and surpass…a song like, ‘We Are The World,’ with lyrics that celebrate personal identity and the sound of every human spirit in union with a harmonic resonance powerful enough for Awakening culture and society into a better and brighter future.”
