I have long sensed that something is happening. I have seen it, I have heard it, and I have experienced it in my own life and observed it in lives all around the globe.
A Need for Global Awakening.
A division and a separation, rather than a coming together. The old structures of organization becoming disseminated and split open, with parts dissected. I sense we need a miracle at a time when there seems to be the revival of a kind of an old fundamentalism. A time when individualism, together with perceptions of body, life, gender, race, culture, class, age, and belief are rapidly shifting without affirmation and assimilation.
I see people seeking more from their relationships with their family and their friends, more from their relationships with their careers and their communities. I see people seeking sustainable health, wellness, well-being and something beyond the current expression of their human spirit. I see people searching for that same feeling they experience when they are immersed in things which they enjoy for both education and entertainment, such as visual or performance arts.
For A More Civilized Civilization.
Though people may not know it, there is a need to transcend divisions and move toward oneness, where there is no loss of self within the larger context of humanity. A oneness where everyone can express and celebrate their unique sense of identity, while retaining their individuality anywhere they may choose to align in the human experience. An Awakening Project offers such opportunities for all people through my new Body & Life Nia Education Program called, Nia, Art of Awakening, as well as, Creative Collectives and An Awakening Project Gallery Show events.

Through An Awakening Project, kindness and compassion tap into what I see as untapped human potential to do better and to be better. Driven by a spotlight on numerous cultural and social needs, what I sense as desire and imagination, driven by logic and mystery, reflects ways for people to find their way home to their body while deconstructing the influence of parental, religious, institutional, cultural, or social beliefs and symbols.
An Awakening Project is strong stuff. It is the stuff of both the evolution and the resolution of finding peace and harmony in the midst of global chaos, through change and transformation. It is the way of nature, which in a time of chaos, offers a helping hand to nurture holistic health and wellness for the individual and independent body, mind, emotion, and spirit for a more humane humanity and a more civilized civilization around the world.
