It is through creativity in Nia, Art of Awakening that your extraordinary narrative will emerge. Creating is your path to speak to people in a way they can understand in a global community for every age, size, shape, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sexual identity, sexual orientation, physical and cognitive ability, as well as, all of the other beautiful qualities that make each individual human being unique.
Life is creating! You are the artist, the artisan, and the art. The ways you choose to clothe and adorn your body, how you choose to arrange and decorate your table for dinner, the methods you choose to plan and organize a work day, the techniques you choose to navigate and explore a new travel destination, or the manner you choose to gather family or friends or community together are all expressions of creativity.
In a gallery or museum and you can see and sense art relaxing, inspiring, agitating, and even healing people. The eyes of viewers are fixated on shapes and colors, immersed in the vision of others, as if giving permission for artists to play in the viewer’s private world. Moving from one piece of art to another, they awaken, feel, sense, think, remember, and reflect. Long after, sensing pleasure and continuing to do so.
If you are one who thinks that you are not creative, think again. Who you are is, in part, your creation—a work of art. Arts are a language inherent to the realms of being fully human. One of the first things you do as with your body, mind, heart, and that which is uniquely you – your spirit – is to relate with the universe and to share all that emerges from within you. This is your human potential, waiting to be celebrated.
Signs and symbols are what your brain is coded to learn and enjoy. They speak to all ages, to all people, from all walks of life, with all kinds of beliefs. They are the parts and pieces of all creativity that are a pathway to peel and awaken all the parts of being fully human within yourself. If you have lost a meaningful passion you once possessed for living your life, the arts are one power for You, An Awakening within.
Creating allows both logic and mystery to become awakened. Creating invades us in a non-invasive way. It arises both from experiences we once had and the experience we once dreamed about; which makes creativity an amazing tool for spiritual growth. Creating frees up energy held in unconscious belief often locked within the body as energy stifled by society and culture, which has eroded the human spirit.
In your busy life, waiting until a given day or a given moment to seek creativity within you will not bring you pleasure. What is important is that you begin from the moment you open our eyes until the time you sleep each day, as you have many opportunities to choose pleasure. See and use every moment for creating. This is what awakens sustainability in you, your life, your community, and your planet.
